The second one of Wolverine is excellent. A very earthly feeling sketch, with some really nice highlights.

If you've been checking out all the Eye Candy posts you'll notice that I'm waay into Dell'Otto's art.

Definitely one of the best new artists in a while.

Yeah, I have really been enjoying all of the posts of his work.

Do you know what projects he is currently working on? I saw something about Secret Wars ... I would love to check out more of his work.

By the way, I added my current list of comic subscriptions to this page ... have you posted a list of what you buy anywhere on here?

Yeah, I've posted a few times about what I currently read but it may be hard to find it here.
I'll be posting an updated list soon as I'm about to do my yearly weeding...

Nice list you have.
I couldn't get into Batman and Robin, though. DK2 kinda pushed me away from it.

As for Maleev...
He did the Secret War mini-series and the Secret War: Nick Fury special.
After that he's set to do the covers for Marvel's Annihilation mini-series of mini-series.

I heard not so many good things about the Dark Knight sequel ... which is probably why I haven't read it yet and why I still enjoy Batman stories. The artist, more often than not, is the deciding factor for me ... and I do enjoy Jim Lee's work quite a bit ... so I am sold for now on AB&R.

O wait ... Amazon just told me that Secret War was not only Gabriele Dell'Otto, but written by Brian Michael Bendis! I am going to have to check it out now! Excluding Bendis' work on Ultimate Spider-man, I have really enjoyed all of the rest of his work.

You do know that Bendis is doing the upcoming Spider-Woman, right?
And that Maleev is doing the art..?

As a bit of reference, here is the list of comics I was reading about the time I started this blog.
