I must also add that when I got hooked on MADMAN, it opened me up to independent comics.
Mike Allred was the first writer/artist that I ever looked at in "real person creator" kinda way.
After reading MADMAN, I became more aware of other solo creators, such as Jaime Hernandez and Jay Stephens. And I still have a soft spot for anything completely done by one person.

I just remember that when MADMAN COMICS #1 came out it made a big impression on me and I started saving the previews and interviews.
Ironically, I bought the first issue to sell it at a con here. During the con, I read it and immediately took it out of the sell box.
Just wait... I have more coming.
