Lady Gaga Comes Out On Top

...And the award goes to...
Lady Gaga - "Bad Romance"

Other highlights included:
*Nicki Minaj singing over a sample of "Video Killed the Radio Star".
*A glimpse at why I should like True Blood.
*A mediocre performance by Eminem, although he did win an award.
*Great entrance and humor by 2010 host, Chelsea Handler.
*Justin Bieber proved that he's not going away... Even won Best New Artist.
*An amazing performance from Usher.
*Florence and the Machine kicked ass! I think they may have found a new audience.
*Drake kept reminding me of the guy from Welcome Back Kotter...
*Taylor Swift and Kanye West both milked the attention from last year and proved that they have something in common as both of their performances were forgettable. However, they did both look real good.
*And a surprise appearance by Cher as she awarded the Best Video award to Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga even revealed the name of her next album, "Born This Way", and sang a few lines from the title track. The album, already finished, is slated for a release next year. Originally, she was going to reveal the name of the album on New Year's Eve with a new tattoo but she had promised her fans she would announce it if she won the award.

Congrats to Lady Gaga, who also won Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Best Dance Video, Best Choreography, Best Direction and Best Editing for "Bad Romance" and Best Collaboration for "Telephone".
